Hemi
Energy Group, Inc. is an American independent crude oil and natural
gas producer. The company is currently focusing its efforts on enhanced
recovery operations in mature domestic oil fields.
-
Up to two-thirds of the original oil remains in numerous U.S. fields.
Hemi is aggressively acquiring and re-developing this type of high
quality land and plans to use enhanced recovery techniques to recover
millions of barrels of proven oil.
-
Hemi has funded all projects to date with equity and has no debt
as of June 30, 2007.
-
Acquisitions have been negotiated at attractive prices, providing
a competitive advantage over major energy corporations that lack
the efficiency to operate such fields and have chosen to focus their
resources offshore.
-
Because Hemi's portfolio is comprised of mature fields with proven
reserves, production growth is not dependent on exploration drilling
and the high degree of speculation in making new oil discoveries.
-
The price of oil has soared to levels not seen for more than 20
years. Some analysts expect a rising trend could take prices above
$100 a barrel.
-
Because the world's population is growing and living standards are
rising worldwide, energy consumption globally is expected to jump
by more than 50 percent over the next 25 years. But finding supplies
to match that growth is going to be increasingly tough, and will
require massive new investments in coming decades. Oil and natural
gas will remain indispensable to meeting total projected energy
demand growth.
